Hands down the BEST Thai food in Myrtle Beach. I've lived in Myrtle Beach for over 25 years and I have been going to Bangkok House for over 10 YEARS... The food is ALWAYS amazing. Their food is abundant in flavor and never fails to please. They have a very fair-priced lunch special that is my go-to when I am craving Thai (which is often). The portions are generous and satisifyingly filling. The atmosphere is qaint, homey, and has that the nostalgic mom and pop shop feel. I will without hesitation recommend this place to anyone that is looking for that instant favorite to add to their list.

If you have patience to wait for your food go there. Otherwise I won't recommend it. I ordered curry, fried rice. We have been waiting more than 1 hour and 15 minutes still we didn't get food. The waitress don't even notice this.. when we asked she replied like if you want you can order appetizer. Very worst service. We left the place after 1 hr 30 minutes without even have anything..

Great tasting food, however the service took very long to get our food. Some people in our party recieved their food first and was finished eating before we even began. The decor can also use an update.

My absolute favorite place to eat. Healthy, authentic Thai food that's always made to order. Quality mom n pop restaurant! Recommend the spring rolls, sweet & sour chicken, Thai fried rice.. Heck, it's all VERY good!

Quaint little restaurant with the best won ton soup I’ve ever had! The flavors were amazing! Enjoyed the Thai tea so much we went back to grab one for our trip back to Florida! It’s like a desert in a drink. Will definitely be back on our next visit to Myrtle Beach.

Never would have thought we'd get the great food we got at this place but wow it was our of sight! It is a very unassuming spot but wow was the food great. Pad Thai was on point and the curry was just right. Wait staff was attentive and very polite. Food came out quickly and was high quality. Everyone in our group enjoyed their dish. Hats off!!

First time at this restaurant . Wings were wonderful, full of flavor. There beef & broccoli is soupy ,not thick like Chinese, it comes with white rice. I ordered a noodle dish that started with a D but cant remember. It was much better after I added hot peppers sauce to it. Overall I would eat here again.

Food is always outstanding. Can't beat the lunch specials. Dinner prices are a little high, but portions are so generous you can easily share or have leftovers. The building itself is a little worn down but in a good location. Thai iced tea, red curry dishes, and pad thai are the best I have ever had.

The first night we visited was great. Papaya salad, vegetable fried rice for our vegan friend. I got the beef and broccoli. Mango sticky rice for dessert. Everything was delicious and the service was great.Went back two nights later for another order of Mango sticky rice. Waited 20 minutes then the rice was old and hard. Satisfied with the first visit, dissatisfied with second visit.

Nice small cute Thai place with the traditional dishes. The Pad Thai tasted bit different, didnt like it...I was taught to judge restaurants by their restrooms, which wasnt too clean, no mirror and could use some fixes. Except that, I would probably come back. The service was kind and fast. It wasnt busy at all at Saturday noon.

Had the hot and sour soup, spring roll and pad Thai with tofu. Everything was outstanding. Very inexpensive. If you like Thai, go here.

Roaches!!!!! Lord sitting at the table waiting on our food and a roach joined us at the table. Waitress killed it. We try to not think about it and still eat, but as we try to eat our food another one joins us.

Very good. Ordered Thai spicy ginger stir fry and they didn't disappoint on the heat. Reasonable prices. Authentic flavor. I've had a lot of Thai food and this was very good. Expect smaller lunch portions and prices. Got 4 shrimp, expected more. Not a lot of ginger. 4 stars for that. Small place, off beaten tourist path.

This place was a JOKE! Those who left good reviews must have been there when it was slow, 1 or 2 tables. Stood At the door for 5 minutes and no one greeted us or said hello, so we seated ourselves, after 10 more minutes without being greeted I ended up getting our own menus. After another 10 minutes of waiting I finally raised my voice and ask for service. The man finally came and said he could give me drinks but it would be at least an hour for food.People come here to eat. People expect customer service and some respect none of which was found here.

I have had Thai in many places and a lot of them have been very good but let me tell you this place by far exceeded my expectations ! This is the best, freshest, on point Thai I’ve had. This place is ligit 😃 It’s not fancy my any means but it was clean, friendly and off the chain good ! Highly recommend it. Keep it up Bangkok House.

Very Very Poor Quality food. the place is not clean. .flies everywhere, they didn't even bother to have the air on in this heat. . . got our order wrong, taste was not good at all. poor customer service too.

Been coming here for the last 8 months or so. As a child of a Thai mother and having been to Thailand myself, this is by far the prefect mix of street and traditional in one. This is the best I can get that is superior to my mother's cooking. Every experience we have had here has been beyond pleasant. I have seen people say bland!? Are you ordering it spicy or not? Why take the thai out of thai food? That's why it's bland. Thai food thrives on the unity of all the various flavors to get the great dishes they boast. Can't take the heat, don't eat Thai. Go down the road and get your basic chinese american food 😂😂😂🙈🙈🙈. If you like heat that won't destroy the flavor of food. Try your next dish Thai hot.
